ChiGivesBack is dedicated to empowering underserved Chicago communities across generations and needs. From students and teachers to families, seniors, and neighbors experiencing hardship, we show up where we’re needed most.
Who We Serve
At ChiGivesBack, our mission reaches every corner of the community. We believe that impact begins with access; access to opportunity, support, and the belief that someone cares. For youth, that means school supplies, mentorship, and moments of joy that inspire confidence. For educators, it’s recognition, resources, and the encouragement they need to keep shaping the future. And for families in need, our programs provide food, coats, toys, and emergency resources that restore stability and hope.
Our work also extends to those who too often go unseen. We serve seniors with connection, care, and meals that honor their dignity, and we support housing-insecure and unhoused individuals with warmth, essentials, and compassion. Each initiative is a reflection of our belief that when people feel seen, supported, and valued, communities thrive. Together, we’re building a Chicago where giving back isn’t just something we do, it’s who we are.
Our Impact
Our journey began in 2017 with a simple Toy Drive, and we’ve grown tremendously since then.
