Random Acts of Kindness

Do one good thing for someone today.

Good people. Good energy. Real impact. Share your act, fuel the next one with a gift, and pay it forward.

The Kindness Wall

At ChiGivesBack, we believe that kindness knows no bounds, and everyone deserves to experience the joy of unexpected generosity. Launched in 2020, we created Random Acts of Kindness to spread love and support to individuals who may not meet the specific criteria for other initiatives.

Strong partnerships keep a community moving. Working alongside local businesses, ChiGivesBack provided coffee and lunches for first responders, police officers, and volunteers who give their time and energy to Chicago. A partnership with PepsiCo put Gatorade in the hands of a school football team, while a $1,000 water donation supported Juneteenth celebrations. Lunch donations also helped power a sports and education camp for local youth. Your support helps us show up for more neighbors, more schools, and more moments that matter.

Simpson Academy for Young Women

At Simpson Academy for Young Women, ChiGivesBack delivered two commissioned murals, a redesigned teachers’ lounge, and an empowerment panel. We provided 39 Mommy and Me photoshoots and makeovers, donated 1,000 diapers, and served a meal and desserts. Three hundred volunteer hours made it happen. Watch the recap, then donate to bring this work to more Chicago schools and families.
